Teaching Black History

Integrating Black History Throughout the Year

vertical divider
The history and contributions of Black Canadians have often been excluded from school curriculums. While Black History Month is an important moment of recognition, our goal is that the contributions of Black Canadians are woven into the curriculum all year long. To support this, we developed resources to help school boards and educators facilitate the integration of Black Canadian History into the classroom.
